In the past were beaches 

Golden halcyon reaches

To stroll upon.

Once you lost all your treasure

Failure by your own measure

Everything gone.


Catch the wave when it comes

Lead the crest and ride it.

Under the sun.

Don't look back at mistakes

Leave every tumble behind you.

Your moment has come.


All the deep preparation

Practice and repetition

 For learning how.

Every stance you have tried or

Balanced strength you applied will

Flow to you now


Catch the wind in your sail

Will I borrow the wings of the gull To leave the storm behind Will they carry me out through the lull In torrent tossing winds? COMING HOME Karen Lewis I turn my back to the wind, I Tie my scarf 'gainst the tempest roar Put one foot front of the other Til I reach the stout wooden door Coming home. There's a fire on the hearth And a hot soup for me. A smile on my lover's face. Home is where the heart returns From every other place.
